A dedicated 4K Spotlight channel in the newly updated Roku OS 7 puts all the available ultra high definition programming in one place. This alone solves the stubborn problem of finding 4K content, and it does so with Rokus characteristically helpful interface that aggregates programming options from several different sources. That way you can search for what you want and then pick the cheapest (or easiest) way to watch. The upgrades dont stop there, though. In addition to launched Roku OS 7, the set top box is also getting a fancy new mobile app. The overhauled iOS and Android apps let you use your phone as a remote and even explore the countless channels Roku supports while youre watching TV. (That should cut down on time spent blindly staring at menu screens.) Meanwhile, voice search works in the mobile app as well. You can even broadcast your photos onto your TVif 4K if you want. Who could have imagined that the gyroscopes found in a mobile phone (they ensure that the picture is always the right way up) could be a major part of such an amazing device as the 2 wheel self balancing scooter. With a range of up to 12 miles before needing a battery recharge together with a top speed of around 7 mph these new battery powered drifters are without a doubt this year’s “must have” gift. Originally only seen being used by celebs and sports stars on Youtube, they are now at a price range that is attainable by the man in the street. They are so much fun !.

While this does demonstrate this floorheads suction efficiency, the Turbohead is simply easier and more effective on carpet. On full power the Turbohead brush spins very fast indeed to give the carpet plenty of agitation to loosen dirt. The sliding vent switch is useful if you need to reduce the suction pressure a little, perhaps on rugs that may move or pull up, but we preferred the higher suction with the vent closed. The head moves around easily on most carpets and is not too noisy either, at 79dB. With the AirTeQ head this falls further to 77dB, and it can be quieter still if you reduce power below maximum. We would probably use the Turbohead for carpets and the AirTeQ head for hard floors almost exclusively as these surfaces see each at their best. So on our carpet test, liberally covered with carpet freshener powder, the Turbohead did an exceptionally good job of picking up the dust and a few stray pet hairs in the regulation three passes. Its close to edge cleaning was also exceptional, with little or no powder showing against the skirting board. For this we resorted to the lightweight upholstery tool, which while not as effective at grabbing pet hairs was great for getting into nooks and crannies.
